This is a song I made after I graduated High School and was moving out of my parents house to the big city. It's a goodbye song for my friends and family.
One of the most complete songs I have composed.
This is why I say writing lyrics isn't my forte when it comes to composing. It's so silly. Oh yeah, and I'm playing the cavaco on this.
Composition with a friend. It is just a II V I VI. I'd just started inviting him to play sessions (2022).
I made this harmony and motif in a gypsy jazz rhythm and had my friend play with me.
I made this because of a girl.
I won't go too much into it.
This is a song I made while in a public square at night, with some friends.
A song influenced by Marina Lima and Marcos Valle
Similar idea to the previous song. Beach vibes. This one is unfinished though.
I haven't fallen in love again since 2022.
This is also back in 2024. I really like it, hearing it now.
Made this in a time I was kind of upset with my brother. The lyrics say it all.
A simple tune where I describe what was happening in my mind and surroundings. There had been fires and the sky was apocalyptic looking.
I don't remember making this one. I am shocked at myself. I'm sure I improvised the lyrics which is something I'm not very good at. It's something my friend does, and I think I was trying to emulate his method.
These are just some basic musical ideas, mostly repeating patterns around a simple tonal harmony. Often improvised.
